I love being unabashedly who I am and being accepted and loved for it. I love being a woman. I have so many brilliant parts if I can be brave enough to be vulnerable and honest. Finding a man who understands the shiny little facets of me may be icing on the cake, but it’s no longer a necessity. I have plenty of work to do and life to live on my own. I’m very happy with the solo adventure in Wilson and with God.
It has been wonderful dedicating these last two years to knowing and loving myself. There is no greater gift I can give the world than that. If only I had known this when I was 20! Luckily, my whole life is about learning and riding the waves as they come. Happiness is never a constant, but peace can be. I know my heart and soul. I know who I am at my center. Anything that happens around me is okay. Totally survivable. I can ebb and flow through life’s challenges and walk away a better woman for the learning each one provides. I am open to the ride.
I am a writer. I wrote a book I love in six months of dedicated work. 90,000 words. Everything in these sentences shocks me. This week it will be released to the world of agents and publishers. I am giving away my life, my memoir that spans from birth to today. It’s heartbreakingly vulnerable, funny, sad, scared and full of joy and laughter! One giant rollercoaster, just like me.
Thank you for letting me into your life to learn and share. With your help, I found out who I am.
