I’m back – back in a New York groove…
Hello from NYC!
Last weekend, I packed Wilson and tearfully hugged Mom and Dad goodbye and made the 11 hour drive back to the city. After 14 hours in the car, I remembered how much I love weekend traffic in Manhattan. Eventually, I rolled up at my friend Liz’s house, to be reunited with her and her two boys. Wilson has a safe parking spot and I have a great space to live and work thanks to Liz.
I am back. I will be in the city as long as it takes. Takes for what, you ask? To sell my book. The Willful manuscript and proposal is done and if I want to publish it in a big way, I need an agent first and then the agent helps me land a publisher. It’s a big task, but I am up to it. I’ll be working in the city while I nudge the book along it’s journey.
I am excited to be back. I am so happy to be around many of my closest friends. The energy of the city is upon me and it’s been a busy 8 days since I arrived. It won’t be slowing down.
Thank you to everyone who has supported this wild adventure I have been on for the last two years. It has been a beautiful journey in every way. Your energy has lifted me up in the darkest moments and I feel you cheering me on all the time.
I know that with your support and love behind me, Willful is going to be a reality sooner than later on all your bookshelves. I take you with me every step of the way.
